Fog droplets are so small they stay suspended in the air just like clouds. This creates a dramatic effect, which resembles clouds, fog, smoke or steam. Controlling the pressure and the orientation of the atomisation nozzles a thick billowing cloud constantly moving or a light fog variation can be created. The systems can be used indoors and outdoors. The effect of fog for special effects is so dramatic that it got the attention of Hollywood and has been used in movies such as Jurassic Park and Apollo 13.

The fog effect is completely environmentally friendly, using normal tap water only and is used in commercial greenhouses for humidity control and cooling. Plants thrive in the “sub-tropical” climate created by the high-pressure fog, giving a beautiful cool landscape effect. The also deters unwanted flying insects such as mosquitoes and flies and reduces pollen and dust in the air.
