Dust Suppression

The OutdoorCooling system generates fog at 70 BAR/1000 PSI pressure through a nozzle with a 0.2 mm/0.008” orifice. The fog is delivered at 0.09 litres of water per nozzle per minute. Typically, an average cubic metre of air would contain 0.6 grams of dust. Assuming an equivalence of water particle and dust particle density, the same cubic metre of air could contain 210 times more water particles than dust. The dust particles and the water particles have opposite charges, causing the particles to attract and bond. The resultant bonding increases the particle weight, which impels it toward the ground, either to fall back into the original material, or to be swept away and disposed of. This is achieved without wetting or significant increasing of the product moisture.
